Mahmuda Yasmin is a dedicated entrepreneur, finance professional, and the Founder of Cook Fresh, an innovative ready-to-cook vegetable service focused on making healthy cooking easier, faster, and more convenient for modern families.
She has more than 16 years of professional experience in the banking sector, with expertise in Corporate Finance, Financial Management, Management Information Systems (MIS), Financial Reporting, and Business Operations. During her professional career, she worked with ONE Bank PLC in responsible positions within the Finance Division.
Mahmuda Yasmin holds an M.Com degree and has completed the Knowledge Level of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB). She also gained valuable professional experience by working in a Chartered Accountancy firm, which strengthened her knowledge and skills in accounting, financial reporting, bookkeeping, and business management.
She has received On-the-Job Training under a Partner Project of the Department of Agricultural Marketing (কৃষি বিপণন অধিদপ্তর), Bangladesh. She has also received specialized training on Dehydration of Dry Fruits from the Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute (BARI). These training experiences have enhanced her practical knowledge and skills in food processing, dehydration, preservation, value addition, agricultural marketing, and post-harvest management.
After building a successful career in banking, she chose entrepreneurship to create a better balance between her professional responsibilities and family life. She founded Cook Fresh with the vision of providing fresh, hygienically processed, washed, cut, and properly packaged vegetables that save time and support healthy eating.
Through Cook Fresh, she is working to build a modern and sustainable food-service ecosystem by connecting farmers, fresh produce, technology, efficient supply chains, and urban consumers. Her business concept, “Wheels & Click,” combines electric-cart-based services with online ordering to make fresh and ready-to-cook vegetables more accessible and convenient.
As an entrepreneur, Mahmuda Yasmin is committed to reducing post-harvest loss, supporting farmers, promoting safe and nutritious food, creating employment opportunities, and encouraging women’s participation in business. She continues to explore innovation in food processing, dehydration, sustainable agriculture, digital marketing, and technology-based business solutions.
